Our trigger for the Springfield Kuna is offset towards the rear by .1600″ or about 4mm when compared to the factory trigger. This brings the Length of Pull (LOP) in line with that of standard AR/M4 pattern receivers (and byproduct, due to trigger pack geometry, it also slightly reduces pull weight by 3-5% or about 0.2lbs on factory springs). The Kuna has a good trigger out of the box, but if you have been swapping out grips and something still feels ever so slightly off about the fire control group as compared to your typical AR, we highly recommend giving our trigger a shot. Our Kuna triggers are precision machined from billet aluminum available in black or red. Made in the USA, this part counts towards 922R compliance. Trigger includes a new roll pin for seamless installation.

The red trigger looks good, and the length of pull is slightly reduced. The reset also feels shorter, though that’s likely due to the updated trigger angle.
One word of caution: when using a hammer to tap out the pin, be careful not to apply too much downward pressure on the assembly—doing so can cause the trigger pins to pop out.
Try to first set the pin into the trigger, then using a padded pair of channel lock plier or vice grip pliers to press the pin in place.
