Description
Our 9mm Blast Shield is designed to direct muzzle pressure straight downrange, mitigating the overpressure typically associated with flash hiders and muzzle brakes. The internal geometry of our blast shield features a cone shape which helps shift the recoil impulse on most operating systems to feel more like the “push” of suppressed shooting vs the “snap” of a flash hider or open muzzle. Our blast shields are Non-NFA and do not reduce sound or function as a suppressor. However, they are perfect for simulating suppressors both in weight and form. Ideal for balancing the muzzle in rear heavy setups (looking at you “K” builds) and for use in “tucked” builds where a barrel/muzzle might be shrouded inside of a handguard, or just getting that muzzle blast out past the light on your favorite PCC.
