Springfield Kuna UCS Stock

Description

Seamlessly adapt the Magpul™ UCS folding stock to your Springfield Kuna. Our adapter is light weight, low profile, and integrates the UCS stock directly into the rear trunnion of the Kuna by removing the lengthy 1913 interface completely. The UCS stock is unique in that the hinge can be reversed to fold either left or right. Our stock adapter is machined from billet 6061T6 aluminum and hard coat anodized to MIL-A-8625. The Magpul™ UCS stock is polymer.

Note: Due to typical production tolerances in the Kuna receiver geometry, your rear takedown pin could fit more tightly with our adapter than with the factory adapter. The factory adapters are polymer, which is a more flexible material, and can account for a wider range of hole locations. Our adapters are aluminum, which is a more rigid material, and therefore have a smaller range in which the takedown pin can be a true “slip fit”. Because of this, we designed our mating geometry to favor the tight side of the tolerance zone, guaranteeing that our adapters will always fall between a slip-fit and tight-fit condition; never too loose. Ultimately, and depending on your receiver, you might need to use a rubber mallet or punch to install/remove your rear takedown pin (nothing more). We believe the risk of being tighter and potentially needing a punch to better than the possibility of your adapter fitting loosely/wobble with a stock/brace attached.
