AR9 PCC Suppressor Ready Handguard, RETRO

Description

We are proud to introduce our SR (Suppressor Ready) handguards for the Pistol Caliber AR platform. These dedicated AR9 handguards are compatible with all direct blowback caliber builds utilizing a Mil-Spec AR15 upper receiver. Our SR handguards feature the industry’s largest inside diameter; at 1.80″ our SR handguards are designed to shroud large PCC cans like the DeadAir Wolfman and Rugged Sub9 (something no other handguard currently on the market can do). Available in 6″, 8″, 10″, and 12″ to give you ultimate flexibility in barrel/muzzle device lengths on your build. This version of our handguard blends retro ribbed MP5 SD vibes with the modern function of full length MLOK on the bottom, and single 3:00/9:00 MLOK slots at the muzzle. During development we obsessed over every angle, line, and transition of these handguards to get the cleanest fitment with the widest number of receiver sets. The result is seamless integration and quality that you can not only see, but feel when you run the handguard. Thanks to our unique mounting interface at the barrel nut, the handguard shroud CAN be removed with the suppressor/endcap still installed on the barrel.

The mounting block and shroud are machined from aluminum, then anodized MIL-A-8625 Type 3 hard coat. The barrel nut is machined from chromoly steel, heat treated, and finished in black nitride. The handguard length measurements are taken between the front surface of the upper receiver and the front surface of our handguard shroud. Note: Our barrel nut must be installed using a common AR15/M16 Castle Nut tool. This tool is NOT included with the handguard. If you need help sourcing an AR15 Castle Nut tool (or 1.5″ spanner) please just let us know, we can definitely point you in the right direction.
