Do you need to remove the welded trigger pack from your 2015-2017 CZ Scorpion EVO S1 pistol/carbine? We have you covered. This kit includes the correct drill bit and a replacement screw. Please see the video below for a step by step tutorial on how to identify a welded trigger pack and how to remove the welded screw.

The drill bit that we supply is 1/8″ diameter, with a short “screw machine” profile. Similar bits *might* be available at specialty hardware and tooling stores, but typically this style of shorter bit is not found in the “big box stores”. Standard length 1/8″ drill bits can also be used, but the flutes will extend up through the pilot hole in the trigger guard, and you may run the risk of damaging pilot hole/trigger guard.

*Please note that CZ-USA also has a complete trigger housing replacement program; for more info and to sign up for their wait list please visit this link: CZ-USA ScoprionTriggerSwap

I ruined about 9 drill bits trying to crack the weld on my trigger pack, including two cobalt hard steel rated bits. Save yourself some hours and trips to the hardware store, just buy this before you try. After getting the bit in the mail it took all of 30 seconds of drilling to finish what nearly a dozen, now worthless, bits couldn’t accomplish

Worked like a champ – took about 30-45 seconds. Definitely would have destroyed the standard bits I already had. Definitely do recommend.

This product has been sold out for some time but I got it directly from MSC. Works like a charm with the awesome video to help. I would not advise trying to do this on your own if you are not comfortable with it. It is very easy to make a mistake. Love the drill bit and love HBI!

This drill worked like a champ. The collar on my trigger pack was welded much more substantially than the one in the video. The task took a little longer but this drill was worth every penny.

My gun is new and unfired, and first thing I did was order this and it was a breeze to drill out and swap the trigger spring.

Glad I got this. The bit was perfectly sized for the job and the replacement bolt fit correctly in the housing. The removal was simple with no problems and only took a few nerve-wracking minutes. I recommend you clean the threads in the trigger housing with acetone and use some blue thread locker on the new bolt.
